Insurance
Please get in touch with your health insurance before your appointment. Many health insurance plans require pre-authorization for mental health services. Failure to contact your health insurance company in advance may significantly reduce your benefits.
Late Cancellations/No-Show
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call our office 24 hours before your appointment.
New client appointments require 48-hour notice to avoid penalties. We reserve the right to charge up to the full amount of your scheduled appointment in case of a late cancellation or NO-SHOW. You may also utilize email or our confidential voicemail to notify us of cancellations if a staff member is unavailable.
Repeated no-shows and unpaid balances will result in an automatic discharge from the practice.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, assume your appointment remains scheduled or may be conducted via telepsychiatry services. You may contact our office or access the Patient Portal for appointment changes. We will notify you directly in the event of an office closure or change in your scheduled appointment.
Controlled Substance Policy
Controlled substances require a signed Controlled Substances Agreement. There will be NO refills for substances reported as lost, stolen, or damaged.
